This is a very special day out, taking us from the village of Monda across the Snowy Mountains. The scenery is quite simply breath taking as described by one of our recent guests when he returned home:-
“People might be forgiven for questioning that the Andalusian splendour and this corner of England actually share the same planet”(Ron Murray).
Our route traverses the Sierra Prieta Mountain peaking at approx. 1200m above sea level which is over 200m above the highest mountain in England.
We now stop at a very remote and traditional venta for a light lunch and a well-earned rest before mounting up and heading home.
On returning to base we have a well-stocked fridge which you are welcome to enjoy while we swap stories about this amazing day out.
While no specialist riding skill is required this is a high altitude route and not for those with a fear of heights.
