Our two day adventure break is the perfect antidote to the stress of 21st centurty life and packs an amazing amount into a short time.
Departing from the village of Monda we leave the Seirra del las Nieves / Snowy Mountains and commence our traverse across Seirra Prieta. Reaching an altitude of approximately 1000m above sea level we park our vehicles and proceed on foot along a 3.7KM trail which takes us to the summit. At 1515m (4970 ft) this is the second highest mountain in the region and is over 171m (561 ft) higher than Ben Nevis. The views are truly magnificent as is the sense of achievement.
On returning to our vehicles we complete our traverse of the mountain and stop at a venta for a late lunch and a well-earned rest.
Suitably refreshed we now continue on the ATVs to the magnificent lake at El Choro where your hotel awaits. http://www.hoteldelconde.com
Meet at 10am for pick up and transfer to start of the famous Caminito Del Rey, http://www.caminitodelrey.info/en/#1 . Having completed this amazing experience we return to the hotel for coffee and a snack before setting of on the ATVs. After approx. 1 ½ hours we stop for a light lunch before completing our return journey to Monda.
A well-stocked fridge awaits our return so we can enjoy a few drinks and discuss this amazing adventure.
